It is a sovereign entity under international law, just as the Vatican is.

  4. In 1980, a Las Vegas hospital suspended workers for betting on when patients would die.
  5. Playing cards were issued to British pilots in WWII. If captured, they could be soaked in water and unfolded to reveal a map for escape.
